THE IMPORTANCE OF SURAH AL-FATIHA

Fatiha is the opening chapter of the Al-Qur’an, and also known as the mother of the Qur’an. It is also called prayer. As Allah says, I have divided prayer into two. Between me and my servant.

Some important rules to know are as follows:

1 Fatiha is a pillar within the rules of prayer. The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be unto him) says- there is no prayer for a person who does not read the Fatiha.

2 All names Allah used for himself of were attributed to Him by the prophet, should be accepted as the names of Allah, and we should refute what Allah has refuted for himself, or

refuted by the prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings of Allah be unto him) without self explanation or comparing the name to any creature.

3.Worshipping Allah as the only one with sincerity. The word worship is a combined word referring to actions that are performed by a person, which is appreciated by Allah. Either by words, or actions whether secretly or openly.

4. If a worship is joined with any other thing, it will not be accepted.

5.The Muslim should remember the last day and never forget that great day. It will help the human being in his obedience of Allah. And distant himself from sins.
